A hillside home below Table Mountain
A contemporary hillside home on Glen Crescent in Higgovale, set below Table Mountain. Stacked concrete slabs and planted terraces step down the slope, with a long infinity pool, a stone-clad lounge pavilion and a timber-slatted garage at street level. Inside, board-marked concrete ceilings, warm timber and full-height glazing open the kitchen, living spaces and main bedroom onto decks and a lawned courtyard, with views across the City Bowl.

Brief
SK Properties commissioned eight visuals, four exterior and four interior views, to sell the home off plan while it was being built.
Challenge
The site’s great selling point is its position in the city. The views had to show the house in relation to Table Mountain and Lion’s Head, and give buyers a clear sense of the City Bowl spread out below.
Approach
We worked closely with Kritzinger Architects throughout. We modelled the house in 3D and explored camera angles and lighting until each view showed it at its best. Materials and furniture were chosen together with the architect, while the landscaping was left to us. For the exterior views, we worked with a drone photographer to capture the real backdrop. After handover, we also produced an architectural animation, because we believed the property deserved one.
Outcome
The visuals supported a successful presale of the property, with roughly four weeks from brief to final delivery. We’re especially pleased with how the images capture both the location and the design.
